John Kenneth Rhicard
1954-2024

C’est avec le cœur lourd que nous vous annonçons le décès de M. John Kenneth Rhicard le 27 septembre 2024, à l’âge de 70 ans.

Fils de feu Laurence Rhicard et de feu Mary Farmer. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Helen Mort, son fils Thomas, sa fille Brenda (Daren Richardson), ses petits-enfants, Libby, Colton et Spencer, son frère James Rhicard (Julie Benoit), ses neveux et sa nièce, et autres parents et amis.

John était très impliqué dans la communauté. Il a donné son temps à de nombreuses organisations locales. Il était membre depuis de nombreuses années de Brome-Bolton Fish and Game Club, des Premiers Répondants et bénévole de longue date à l’Exposition de Brome ainsi que de nombreuses autres organisations.

John était le genre de personne qui était toujours prêt à donner un coup de main à quiconque en avait besoin, peu importe l’heure ou la météo. John manquera profondément à tous ceux et celles qui l’ont connu.

La famille sera présente à l'Auberge Lakeview Inn, 50 rue Victoria, Knowlton, QC J0E 1V0, le samedi 26 octobre 2024, de 9h00 à 11h30, suivie d'une courte célébration de sa vie. Au lieu de fleurs, un don peut être fait à un organisme de votre choix. L’inhumation aura lieu à une date ultérieure en privée. Les arrangements sont confiés au salon funéraire

It’s with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Mr. John Kenneth Rhicard on 27th of September 2024, at the age of 70.

Son of the late Laurence Rhicard and the late Mary Farmer. Survived by his wife Helen Mort, his son Thomas, his daughter Brenda (Daren Richardson), his grandchildren, Libby, Colton and Spencer, his brother James Rhicard (Julie Benoit), his niece and nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

John was very involved in the community. He donated his time to many local organizations. He was a long-time member of the Brome-Bolton Fish and Game Club, a First Responder, a long time volunteer at Brome Fair and many other organizations.

John was the type of person who was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it, no matter the time or the weather. John will be deeply missed by all of those who knew him.

Visitation will be held at the Auberge Lakeview Inn, 50 rue Victoria, Knowlton, QC J0E 1V0, on Saturday October 26th, 2024, from 9:00am till 11;30am, followed by a short celebration of his life.
