STEEVES, JOY - Joy Elizabeth Steeves, formerly of Lower Coverdale, passed away quietly after a short illness at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. Joy was a WWII Veteran, retired after 30 years with Airports and Property Management, past President and active with Hillsborough Branch 32 Legion, loved to play darts, bingo, spent hours on the computer and was an avid traveler accumulating a long list of destinations and many boxes of memorabilia.
Joy was cremated in Sudbury, a small private interment of ashes will take place at the Steeves Family Graveside in Shenstone Albert County. For many years the kind support of sister-in-law Enide has been an unspoken blessing, the house maintenance help from nephew Mike and his son Drew may also be remembered as was the many hours of companionship and relocation help by sister Ellen and nieces Jennifer and Rachelle.
