PICTOU – Lilly Hill, 93, Maritime Odd Fellows Home, Pictou, passed away, Tuesday, October 6, 2009, in the home, with her two daughters by her side.
Born in Toronto, Ont., she was a daughter of the late James and Alison (Brown) Watson.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
Surviving are daughters, Lynne Thibault, Abercrombie; Denise Mallett, Westville; sisters, Grace McGillivary and June Clements, Ontario; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Douglas John Hill; son, Douglas Henry; twins, Karen and David in infancy; sisters, May McLeod and Alison Watson; brothers, Sydney and James.
There will be no visitation or service at Lilly’s request. Interment will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
Donations may be made in her memory to the Maritime Odd Fellows Home.
