Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Monday, August 22, 2011, aged 98 years. Devoted husband of Lily (d 1985). A determined, hard working and loving man, Ralph's life will be celebrated by his children: Ivy Ivany (Hanuel), Melvin (Marie), Ross (Marg) and Glenn (Lois); and grandchildren (and great-grandchildren): Randy and Rhonda Ivany, (Melissa (Joseph Abadi) and Mark), Patsy and Harry Bartlett (Harry and Sarah), Jill and Scott Udle (Emily), Joanne and Wayne Rose (Bradley and Brittany), Terry Duffett and Cindy Murphy (Terry), Sheri and Bob Bugden (David and Leah), Scott and Kora Duffett (Kiara and Matthew), and Steven Duffett and Julie Hickey. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Tuesday from 7 - 9 p.m., and Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Barrett's Chapel on Thursday, August 25, 2011, at 2 p.m. with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
