Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Center on August 20th 2011 Ivy Downer age 77 years. Predeceased by parents John and Jane Sparkes, sister Daisy Sweetapple, daughter Jacqueline, grandson Eugene. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Raymond, sons Eugene (Trish) of Bonavista, Ronald (Kay) of North Sidney, NS., John (Verna) of London, ON., daughters Janet (Billy) Clark of Port Union, Marina (Bryant) Pennell of Bonavista, brothers Calvin Sparkes of Grand Falls- Windsor, Bill Sparkes of Glovertown, sisters Mitchie Dyke of Eastport, Lily Stokes of Terra Nova, Dorothy Cooper of Alberta, Louise (Donald) Sweetapple of Glovertown. Grandchildren Trevor, Tammy, Tanya, Ada and James, great grandchildren Hayley, Dustin, Gabriel, Isabella and Jaxson. Also a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander. Funeral Service was held from St. Martins Anglican Cathedral, followed by Interment at All Saints Cemetery, Gander.
