Mitchell, Barbara Ann – 63, Truro passed away peacefully August 21, 2011 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro with family and friends by her side. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Reta Mitchell. Barbara had a brave and courageous nature due to her faith in God. She had a positive attitude and would do anything for her friends. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister. She is survived by sons, Tony (Michelle) Moore, Todd (Mildith) Moore; daughter, Tammy (Tim) Jones; grandchildren, Mikaela, Kierra and Michael Moore; brother, Carl (Gary) Mitchell; sisters, Sheila (Richard) Folk, Gail (Paul) Wizmer, Madeline (Brian) MacLean, Denise (Darrell) Mitchell. Thanks are extended to the doctors, nurses and staff of the ICU in Colchester Regional Hospital and also to the Victorian Order of Nurses for their care and compassion of Barbara. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday at 7:00pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Pastor Scott Penner officiating.
