Kenneth Malcolm Harper
Family and friends of the late Kenneth Malcolm Harper, gathered at Campbell’s Funeral Home on Sunday, August 21, 2011, at 2 p.m. to celebrate his life and mourn his passing.
Rev. Vernon Vickruck officiated, read various scripture sentences and read a book of memories which was handwritten by Ken’s grandson Cody Harper. Ken’s son-in-law Wade Wheaton shared memories of him in a beautiful eulogy. Organist Wendell Anderson accompanied soloist Maurise Levesque in the singing of the hymns "Good Night & Good Morning" and "Softly & Tenderly". Special friends, Dan Hilchie, Derek Woods, John Lafford, Ken Steeves, Bedford Ward and Ivan Phinney served as honorary bearers at his service. Ken will always be remembered as a loving son, husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend.
A time of fellowship and remembrance was held at the funeral home, with refreshments provided by the Midgic Baptist Church Ladies.
The internment took place in the Four Corners Cemetery.
Many floral tributes and memorial donations were given in memory of Ken. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
