KEEVILL
Mrs. Dora Keevill (nee Metka) passed away peacefully on Monday October 5, 2009 at the age of 92. Dora was born in Sterling, AB on August 17, 1917 and moved to Moose Jaw at an early age where she resided the remainder of her life. Dora was an ardent bowler representing Moose Jaw in a number of provincial/national tournaments. She enjoyed fishing and was an avid gardener. Dora was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred in 2001 and son, Ron in 2002. Dora will be sadly missed by her children Keith (Donna) of Moose Jaw, Lynne (Ray) Braun of Trail, BC., her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Brent (Kandis) Keevill and their daughter Kamika of LaRonge, SK, Rhonda (Steve) Shaheen and children Ashley, Shae-Lynne and Mark of Saskatoon, SK, Barry (Rebecca) Braun and children Stacey, Keegan, and Hailey of High River, AB, Brian Braun of Surrey, BC, Dave (Cathy) Keevill and children Tina, and Wendy of Calgary, AB, Mike Keevill of Innisfail, AB, Steve (Joanne) Keevill and children Breanna and Sean of Innisfail, AB, Todd (Mericar) Keevill and son Lucas of Calgary, and brother, Steve Metka of Sardis, BC. In keeping with Dora’s wishes there will be no services. Dora will be laid to rest with her husband at Prairie Memorial Columbarium in Moose Jaw. Flowers are gratefully declined, if friends so wish memorial donations may be made to Providence Place Foundation Inc, 100 2nd Ave. N.E., Moose Jaw, SK S6H 1B8 and would be appreciated. The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Brown and all the wonderful and caring staff of Providence Place where Dora spent her last number of years.
