Mrs. Mary Theresa MacDonald of Sussex passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on August 24, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Stephen and Lillian (Coady) MacDougall.
Theresa will live on in the hearts of Danny her beloved husband of 53 years; by her children, Sharon Esler (David) of Vancouver, Paul MacDonald (Jane) of Quispamsis and Jo-Anne MacDonald (Bob Rodgers) of Rothesay; three grandchildren: Jacob MacDonald, Jack and Bridget Esler; her brother, Mel MacDougall (Fran) of Stratford, P.E.I.; sisters-in-law, Mena MacDonald, Helen MacDonald, Maureen Howlett and Laurena MacDonald all of P.E.I.; as well as many nieces, nephews and godchildren.
To quote Theresa on leaving this world, "I don't want to go, (I'm afraid I'm going to miss something), but I'm ready."
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Friday from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Francis Xavier RC Church on Saturday, August 27, 2011, at 10 a.m. The daily mass will be held from St. Bonaventure RC Church, Tracadie Cross, P.E.I., on Monday, August 29, 2011, at 10 a.m. The interment will take place at St. Bonaventure RC Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy donations made to the Greg Bangay Memorial Bursary Fund would be appreciated by the family.
