April 3, 1942 – August 23, 2011. Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family and friends after a short illness. Hazel was predeceased by her parents Gertrude (King) and Isaac Littlejohn, brother Fred (Thomas) Littlejohn, sister Cybella Gollop. Leaving to mourn with very fond and loving memories her husband Jim Power residing at Glenbrook Lodge; sisters: Ruth Collins (Bill), Cynthia Steeman (Neil), Baltimore, USA; many special and dear nieces, nephews, friends and their families; special sister, Patsy Earles (Harding), Aunt Dorothy King; brothers-in-law: George Gollop, Cyril Power (Jeannie); sisters-in-law: Margaret Whitty (Stan), Ethel Tapper and their families. Hazel is resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Thomas’ Anglican Church. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to Glenbrook Lodge.
