Melanie Bockus
(1976 - 2024)
Passed away peacefully in Sherbrooke, on December 3rd, 2024, at the age of 48, surrounded by her family, after a long battle. The daughter of Charles Ian Bockus (Johanne Brouillette), the late Patricia Ann Brown, and sister of Joshua Bockus and Sarah Bockus.
She leaves to mourn her devoted, supportive and loving daughters Courtney Foster (Adam Grubb) and Makayla Foster (Branden Picken); her beloved grandchildren, Jaxson and Brinnley; her beloved best friends, Alita, Annie, Tricia, Tom and Robin; as well as close loved ones, Marcey, Sandra and Jan. She also leaves behind many great friends, and loving family members that she adored profoundly.

As per Melanie’s wishes, the family will be holding a celebration of life at a later date, more details to follow.
The family would like to thank all the staff, nurses and doctors of the CHUS Fleurimont hospital, as well as the palliative care nurses from the Cowansville CLSC for all their devotion and care throughout her long battle. A special thank you to our family doctor, Dominique Désy, who became Melanie’s lifelong friend. Until we meet again momma.
