The death occurred at his late residence, on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011, of Ross Woodside, of Summerside, aged 74 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late Frank Woodside and Ruth (Bowness) Woodside. Survived by his wife Mary (Currie) Woodside; daughters Wendy Harrison, Toronto, ON; Patti (Phil) Bridges, Summerside; Krista (Wade) Silliker, Margate; grandchildren Ross and Bryan Harrison; Blaize and Bronwyn Bridges; Alicia Silliker; sister Sheila Simmons; and by his furry friends Chrissy, Ming and Quincy. Predeceased by his granddaughter Brianna Silliker, sister Gloria Labchuck, and by his brother-in-law Clarence Simmons. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Saturday from 6-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Brianna Silliker Memorial Scholarship Fund would be appreciated.
