Passed peacefully away on August 22, 2011 at Chancellor Park Nursing Home, aged 90 years. Predeceased by husband Harvey, brother and sister-in-law Edward and Carmel Thornhill, and sisters May Young and Irene Thornhill. Left with fond and precious memories are brothers-in-law: Charles Young (Upper Kingsclear, NB) and David Chafe (Arlene) (Chagrin Falls, OH); cousins: Rose Nicholle and Rosemary Smith (Windsor, Ontario), as well as her many nieces and nephews, particularly Pamela and David Snow who oversaw her care for the past several years. Nieces Heather Pankovich (Jim) (Edmonton, AB) and Kathy Barclay (Clayton) (Upper Kingsclear, NB) will surely miss her, as well as her great-nephews Christopher and Isaac Barclay (Upper Kingsclear, NB), Malcolm Snow and great-niece Heidi Snow. Good friends Susan Walsh and Peter Stevenson, and Joan Fiander provided many happy times and comfort for June. Special thanks to the loving, competent care provided by Chancellor Park Nursing Home staff and Dr. Lisa Kielly. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Friday, August 26, 2011 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service to take place from Barrett’s Chapel on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 11:00 am with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
