Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, St. John’s, Margaret Hammond (Quinlan) of Lance Cove, Bell Island, at the age of 91 yrs. Predeceased by her husband, William J. Hammond (2010), son Edward and grandson John Ezekiel Jr. Leaving to mourn two daughters: Kathleen Ezekiel (John), Goulds, NL, and Gloria Kaus (Kip), Stephenville, NL; one son Wayne (Mary Fowler), Edmonton, Alberta; one sister Kathleen Dicks, Corner Brook, NL; grandchildren: Shawn Hammond, Paula Kelly (Ezekiel), Karen Ezekiel (Bob Oram), Chris Ezekiel, Cory and Adam Kaus, Jennifer Hammond (Andrew Ambrosie) and Nicole Hammond; one great-grandchild Taylor Ezekiel. Visitation to be held at Pendergast’s Funeral Home, Bell Island, Thursday, Aug. 25th from 7-9:00 pm and Friday, Aug. 26th from 12 noon to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service to be held at St. Michael’s Parish on Saturday, Aug. 27th at 11.00 am. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Lance Cove. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. Michael’s Parish, Bell Island.
