Beharrell, Shirley (nee Trueman)
(1926- 2009)
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Shirley Eloise on Monday October 5, 2009 at Norfolk General Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Beloved wife of Roderick Beharrell and the late Wilbur Trueman (1983). Daughter of the late Henry and Stella Trueman of Amherst, Nova Scotia. Dear Mother of Barbara (Dan) Paterson, and Nancy (John) Kalapos. Loving Grandmother of Cameron (Kim) and Kyle Paterson and Sarah and Christopher Kalapos. Special Great Grandmother to Devon, Max, Bronwyn and Zachary. Predeceased by her brother Donald (Marilyn) Trueman. Shirley was also a foster Mom to 40 children over a 20 year period.
Cremation has taken place with private family interment to follow at a later date. A Memorial Service will take place on Friday October 9th at 10:30 at Caledonia Presbyterian Church, 117 Argyle Street, Caledonia.
