It is with great sadness that the families of Winnifred Maria Parsons nee Burden announce her passing at the Bonne Bay Health Center, in Norris Pt, N.L. On Friday, August 26th, 2011 at the age of 101 years, leaving with fond and loving memories her children; Elliott (Blanche) Parsons, Lovelette Wadden, her grandchildren; Nancy Parsons, Bonnie (Jack Baltzly), James (Erica) Parsons, Geraldine (Faron Crocker), & Joanna Wadden, her great grandchildren; Witney Crocker, Kisha Crocker, Jake Baltzly, Colin Baltzly, Lily Baltzly, & Mya Parsons. Her daughter in law; Mrs. Myra Goosney, & her special niece; Mrs. Millicent Billard. Winnifred was predeceased by her husband James Parsons in 1961 & her son; Theodore Parsons in 1989, also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from the United Church in Shoal Brook, N.L., today, Saturday, August 27th, 2011, from the hours of 7 - 9 pm, and continuing on Sunday, August 28th, 2011 from the hours of 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Monday, August 29th, 2011, at 11: am, with Rev: Larry Noseworthy, officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in Shoal Brook, N.L.
