July 11th, 1943 — August 24th, 2011. Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, August 23rd, Mrs. Mary Frances Payne of Spaniard’s Bay, age 68 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Rufus, her parents Joseph and Minnie Barrett, brother Lawrence, sister Gladys Humby, brothers-in-law Mansfield Humby, Herman Payne. Leaving to mourn are, one son Rodney (Jennifer) of P.E.I.; one daughter Michelle (Paul Parsons), Shearstown; brother Arthur, Spaniard’s Bay; mother-in-law Debbie Laing, Rocky Harbour; sisters-in-law: Regina Payne, Rocky Harbour, Ivy Perry (Chris,) Corner Brook, Alice Barrett, Spaniard's Bay; brothers-in-law: Henry, Rocky Harbour, Terry (Linda), Norris Point, George (Donna), Corner Brook, Roderick (Dale), N.S., Gerry (Jill), N.S., Miles (Juanita), Ont.; two very special friends: Garrett and David Simms of Shearstown, nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Lynch’s Funeral Home, Spaniard’s Bay.
