BELTON - Peacefully on Tuesday, September 29, 2009, Pauline Belton passed away at Oakview Place in Winnipeg, at the age of 97 years. Pauline’s husband Edward predeceased her on May 4, 1993. Pauline leaves to cherish her memory her son, Don (Pauline), grandchildren Cindy (Robert), Jason (Mirei) and Clayton (Tasha) and great grandchildren Riley, Zane, Jacey, Danica, Ainsley and Reese. Pauline was born and raised in Wolseley, SK, moving to BC, where she met and married Edward. Pauline and Edward lived for many years in Trail, BC, before residing in Medicine Hat, AB, Eatonia SK and Kincaid, SK. After Edward’s death, Pauline moved to Winnipeg to live with her son and daughter-in-law. Pauline enjoyed gardening, loved cooking and was devoted to her family. Pauline was always active in her local church. The family would like to express their thanks to the nurses and staff of Extendicare Oakview Place for their caring and kindness. Flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pauline’s memory to The Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2. A private family service and interment have taken place.
