It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edith Lillian Hulan of the Acadian Village, Stephenville, formally of McKay’s announce her passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at the age of 93 years. Leaving to mourn with many loving memories her children: Arthur (Sheila), Stephenville, Ivan, Toronto, Lorraine, St. John’s; grandchildren: Michelle (Kevin), Iona (Harold), Iris (Gary), Jeff (Patsy), Nola (Marc); great-grandchildren: Jeffrey, Bradley, Blaine, Caitlin, McKenzie, Stephen, Sarah; sisters: Elizabeth, Adelia, Alice; brothers: Edgar and Ronald; daughter-in-law Pamela as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Hilliard; parents Otto and Mae Hulan; son George (Sid); daughter Loretta; brothers Arnold, Jacob (Ossie), Godfrey and sister Freda. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday from St. George’s Anglican Church, Robinsons from 2 - 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Canon David Pearce officiating. Interment will follow in the Anglican Cemetery, McKay’s. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the St. George’s Anglican Church Memorial Fund or a charity of one’s choice.
