It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lawrence Edward Wight announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, on Wednesday October 7th, 2009 at the age of 70 years, leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife; ILene (nee Crocker), his children; Mike (wife Patsy), Lynn (husband John), Mark (wife Marilyn), Michelle (Shelly) (husband Brandon), his 4 precious grandchildren; Sheryl (Shane), Timothy, Sonya, & Brody, his siblings; Georgina (John Pittman), Maurice (Loretta), Doug, Blanche (Max Chambers), Kay (Herb Woodward), Paul (Karen), & Seth (Debbie), his sisters-in- law Rowena, Hughena & Frances. Also leaving to mourn a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, his extended family and friends. Predeceased by his mother and father Sarah & Stewart and his brothers Stephen & Thomas. The family will be receiving family and friends from the St. Simon & St. Jude Anglican Church in Trout River, today Thursday, October 8th, 2009, from the hours of 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm, from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, October 9th, 2009, at 2 pm with the Rev. Charlene Laing officiating, with the burial to follow at the Anglican Church cemetery in Trout River. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery Fund in Lawrence’s memory and would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
