Clarke, Elizabeth Anne - 48, of Milton, Queens County, passed away on Wednesday, August 24th, 2011, in the Queens General Hospital, Liverpool, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Halifax, she is the daughter of Frederick and Marilyn (Wolfe) Clarke, of East Port L’Herbert. Teaching was Elizabeth’s passion. She was employed for a number of years at the Queens Learning Network, first working with children at the Family Resource Center before becoming a teacher for the Queens Adult Learning Network. She enjoyed swimming, her flowers, doing her Sudoku puzzles and watching the real estate markets. She is survived by her companion John Joudrey; daughter Lyndsay Belair, of Dartmouth; son Connor Clarke, at home; brother Jamie (Gail), of East Port L’Herbert. Visitation was held Friday, August 26th, 2011, with a Celebration of Elizabeth’s life held Saturday, August 27th, 2011, from Chandlers Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Reverend Wade Harvey officiated.
