CORCORAN , Francis “Basil” Leroy John - 62, of Wolfville, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2011 in the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Kentville, he was a son of the late Charles W. and Maxine I. (Keddy) Corcoran. He had been employed with Allen’s Apple Juice in Port Williams for many years and most recently owned and operated TBR Cabs in Kentville. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his children. He is survived by four daughters, Tracy (Robert) Koyanagi, Ontario; Julie Yetman, Ontario; Tianna Corcoran, Wolfville; Brittany Corcoran, Coldbrook; three sons, Graham Corcoran, Ontario; Douglas Yetman, Ontario; Robert Corcoran, Coldbrook; a step-son, Justin Dill, Coldbrook; five sisters, Charlotte and Mary, both of Cambridge; Theresa (Wade) Crocker, Canning; Tammy (David) Stuckless, Ontario; Joyce, Alberta; three brothers, Bruce, Kentville; David (Karen), Ontario; Mark (Angela), Kentville; four grandchildren, Mya, Joshua, Dante and Nathan; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Albert, Paul and Vincent. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2011 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 25, 2011, Father Craig Christenson officiating. Burial took place in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Kentville. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
