It is with great sadness that the family of the late Evelyn Mary Gale announce her passing on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 59 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her two sisters: Marie, Sop's Arm and Zebina (Clyde), St. Barb; brother Robert John (Karen), Ottawa; nephews and nieces: Clyde Jr. (Tina), Cindy (Boyd), Justin, Melissa (Phil) and Zachary, great-nephews: Nico and Nicholas, great-nieces: Kaitlyn and Alyssa, uncles: Solomon Tilley (Alvina), Willis (Joyce) Tilley and Robert (Robeena) Tilley, as well as a large circle of relatives and her extended family of friends at City Pharmacy, Corner Brook. She was predeceased by her parents Elias and Lucy Gale and nephew Robbie Pollard. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Thursday 10-11 AM. Visitation will continue at the Church of the Transfiguration, Sop's Arm, Thursday beginning at 2:00 PM from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Hannah Dicks officiating. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted.
