BLINN, Mandé Joseph – 76, St. Bernard, Digby Co., passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born August 27, 1934, he was a son of the late Louis and Almée Blinn. He worked as an electric motor repairman, owned and operated a fish plant and was a scrap metal dealer. He is survived by a son, Michael Louis Blinn (Shirley Peters), St. Bernard, as well as by granddaughters, Atina Marie Ann Blinn and Magen Dawn Denine Blinn. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Pauline M. Blinn, as well as by a brother, Normand Blinn. In accordance with his wishes, there was no visitation. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. The funeral mass was held on Saturday, August 27, at 11 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, St. Bernard, Fr. Paul Belliveau officiated. Interment followed in the parish cemetery.
