MacKENZIE, MARGARET - Margaret (Maggie) MacKenzie of Drew Nursing Home, Sackville passed away on August 28, 2011 at her residence, at the age of 81. She was the daughter of the late Edmond and the late Richard (Butler) Stewart. Maggie worked at many jobs in her life; cutting pulp wood, basket factory in Ontario, Cy’s Seafood in Moncton, crab factory in Cape Bald but her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren and picking wild berries. She is survived by her one daughter, Lorraine (James) Boutilier of Sheet Harbour, NS, four sons, Reg of Moncton, Leigh (Juliette) of Riverview, Terry (Jenny) of Cape Tormentine, NB and Stacey of Moncton, one stepdaughter, Dolly (Herb) Fredrich, Vittoria, ON, one brother, George (Elsie) Stewart of Mackenzie, BC, 12 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Leslie, one son Dean, two stepdaughters Bertha Kierstead and Velma MacKenzie.
Funeral service will be held at Calhoun United Baptist Church, Calhoun on Wednesday, August 31 at 1:00 pm. Arrangements are in the care of Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. www.dupuisfuneralhome.ca
