It is with great sadness that the family of the late John (Jack) Flynn announce his passing at his home in Brigus on Saturday, August 27, 2011, at the age of 91 years. We were very fortunate to have him with us for so long. Predeceased by his parents, William H. and Annie (Nee Linthorne) Flynn, his wives, Florence Jackman (1947) and Agnes Kennedy (1998), also by brother, Frank, sisters: Mae, Cecilia and Margaret. Leaving to mourn sons: Jack (Brenda deceased) Glenys, Rick (Chris), Jim, Kevin, Edward (Nancy) and Shawn; daughters: Bernadette (Ralph), Barbara, Lisa (Kurt); grandchildren: Greg (Tracy), Ian (Evelyn), Karen (Adrian), Stephen (Tiffany), Neil (Leá), Jennifer (Marc André), Andrew, Kayleigh and Steven, and Nora Belle; great-grandchildren: Zachary and Joshua Trickett, Cameron Flynn and Jack (from Yellowknife) Penney; brother Jim; sisters: Ann and Alice (John); two favourite sisters-in-law: Anna and Theresa. Resting at Broughton's Funeral Home, Brigus on Monday, August 29 from 11 a.m.- 9 p.m., Tuesday, August 30 from 10 a.m.- 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place from St. Patrick’s Church, Brigus on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the R.C.
