(March 6th, 1962 – August 28th, 2011). Sadly we announce the passing of a husband, father, grandfather and brother. Shawn Robert Haley passed peacefully away in his 49th year at the Leonard A. Miller Centre on August 28th, 2011. Predeceased by his parents Brendan and Emma Haley; brother Gerard; nephew Scott Best; father-in-law Abraham Collier; brothers-in-law: Allan Davis and Charles Crant. Leaving to mourn his wife Amelia (Collier); mother-in-law Esmerelda Collier; daughters: Lori (Brandon), Jillian and Shawna (Jason Sharpe); sons: Dillon and Justin (Christina); grandchildren: Kaleb, Brady and Jayla; sisters: Bernice (Larry Williams), Marguerite (James Harris) and Doris (Bruce Best); brothers: Donald (Liz), Duane (Lisa), David (Lillian), Phillip (Greg), Edmund (Debbie) and Brendan (Denise); brother-in-law Junior Collier (Erin); sisters-in-law: Janice (Willie MacDonald), Gertie, Philomena (John Hull), Audrey (Bill Davis) and Joclyn Crant; as well as many dearly loved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, August 31st, 2011 at 10 a.m. from Holy Rosary Church, Portugal Cove.
