Passed away peacefully in her 96th year, on August 28, 2011, surrounded by her family at St. Luke’s Nursing Home. Predeceased by husband, Dr. Karol (Charles) Misik; survived by her loving children: Dr. Karl (Susan) Misik and Tatijana Northrup; grandchildren: Natasha (Stephen) Taylor, Kristina (Peter Allison) Lenehan, Heidi Misik, Kurt Misik (fiancé Heather Joy), their mother Karen (Stentaford) Misik, Anastasia Northrup (fiancé Kyle Russ); great-grandchildren: Magnus and Stefania Taylor, Annabel, Aiden and Evan Lenehan. Rosi will be greatly missed by all her family and friends here in Newfoundland, along with relatives and friends in Austria and Slovakia. A special thank you to the wonderful, caring staff at St. Luke’s. There will be no visitation. Funeral service to be held at St. Luke’s Chapel, Tuesday, August 30th at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
