Passed peacefully away at her home on August 29th, 2011. Predeceased by her loving husband John (Jack) Monahan, her father and mother (Robert and Mary Anne Bishop), sisters Rosemary Bishop and Ethel and brother Raymond. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children who she dearly loved, sons: Michael (Maureen) and Bobby (Allison), and daughter Jacquelyn (Perry Carroll). Also left are her grandchildren who she adored Robbie, Samantha (Corey), Mary Anne, Kirk, Christopher, Joshua, Jack Carroll and great-grandson Hayden; brothers and sisters: Bob Bishop (Janet), John Bishop (Lynn), Rita (Gerald) Downey, and brothers and sisters-in-law: Florence Kendall, Gerald Royce, Edward Monahan (Dorothy), Betty Meyers (Allan), Lilly Follett (Randy) and Shirley Monahan and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins all of whom she dearly loved. Special lifelong friends Donnie and Clara. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, September 1st, 2011 at 11 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Church. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in her memory to the Froude Ave Community Centre.
