Passed away suddenly at his home in Placentia, Pat Pomroy, age 88, formerly of Merasheen, Placentia Bay. Predeceased by his parents William & Theresa Pomroy, first wife Nellie, son Gabe, daughter-in-law RoseMarie, grandson Brian Deem, brothers Vincent, Leo, Ron & Don, sisters Martha & Stella. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife Angela; sons: Vince, Rod (Mathilda), Gerard (Rita); daughters: Theresa (Tom), Viola (Art), Madonna and Angela (Gary); step son Joe (Diane); step-daughters: Madonna (Dominic), Chris (Kevin), Hilda, Angela (Majed) and Bernie (Wade); brothers: Father Bill & Kevin (Betty) and sisters Leona (Bill), Sister Ida & Sister Nellie; brothers-in-law Bill Barnett & Pat Ennis; sister-in-;law Ellen Barnett and Violet Pomroy; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home Placentia on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral Mass to take place on Friday October 9, 2009 at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Placentia. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Pat’s memory to a charity of one's choice.
