Austin Pink
July 13, 1952 - August 29, 2011

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Austin Pink announces his passing on Monday August 29, at Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 59 years. Born at Harbour Le Cou, Austin was the son of the late Randell and Evelyn (nee Rose) Pink. He was also predeceased by his brother in law Clarence Brown. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his loving family, sisters Kathleen Brown of Rose Blanche with whom he resided, Rita (Gordon) Bennett Port aux Basques, Clarence (Donna) Pink, and Melvin (Valerie) Pink all of Rose Blanche. Loving uncle to only niece Dena (John) Richardson, nephews; John Bennett (Trina), Paul Bennett (Rona), Jason Bennett (Loretta), Justin Bennett (Melica). Great nieces and nephews; Mason, Kayla, Mackenna, Cole, Rogan, Jack. He will also be fondly remembered by a large circle of extended family and many friends. Visitation took place on Tuesday and Wednesday at St. Micheal's and All Angels's Anglican Church in Rose Blanche. Funeral services took place on Thursday September 1, 2 PM at St. Micheal's and All Angel's Anglican Church, officiated by Rev. Kris Gosse. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. Donations in Austin's memory can be made to St. Micheal's and All Angel's memorial fund.
