NOLAN, Dennis J. – Passed away suddenly at his residence in Avondale, December 2, 2008, Dennis Nolan, age 75 years. Predeceased by his wife Dorothy, 2007, daughter Anne 2008 and his adopted parents Annie and Tom Nolan. Leaving to mourn his daughters: Jean (Hughie), Georgetown, Daphne (Herman) Whiteway and foster daughter Belinda of St. John’s; nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren, also his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Conway’s Funeral Home, Conception Hr., Thursday 4 p.m. - 9 p.m., Friday 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service at the Funeral Home on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Inurnment at Assumption Cemetery, Avondale. In lieu of flowers, because of his great love for animals, donations in his memory may be made to the SPCA.
