September 2, 1949 - August 31, 2011. Kenneth Murphy passed away at Placentia Cottage Hospital in the presence of his loving family and friends. Predeceased by his wife Sharon Murphy and his father Henry Murphy, father & mother-in-law Francis & Angela Mulrooney, sisters-in-law Rita, Vickie & Fatima, brothers-in-law Pats and Jimmy. Left with fond and loving memories are his three children: Darren, wife Samantha (unborn grandson Brady), Shannon (Kelly), granddaughters: Alexah & Ainsley, Tammy (Billy), granddaughter Alexandra, Kyle; his mother Doarann Murphy; sisters: Carmel (Ernie), Maria (Rob), Beulah and DeeAnn; brothers: Max, Austin (Joan) and Russ; three aunts and one special uncle Anthony Nolan; sisters-in-law: Eita, Tina, Jackie & Aurelia; brothers-in-law: Junior and Lawrence, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Maher’s Funeral Home, Placentia on Thursday from 7 pm to 9 pm and Friday from 2 pm to 9 pm. Funeral Mass to take place 2 pm on Saturday at St. Anne’s Church, Dunville.
