Laura Walters, of Assiniboia, SK, passed away August 31, 2011 at age 90. Predeceased by husband Cyril Sr.; son Cyril Jr.; daughter-in-law Gertrude Ann Walters; brothers Roy and Darl Van Dusen; sisters Edith Atwell and Florence Green; infant grandson, Barton Craig Walters and companion of many years, Les Coote, Laura is survived by brother Howard Van Dusen of Weyburn; daughter Luana (Barry) Gillies of Windermere, BC; daughter-in-law Rita Walters of Assiniboia; grandchildren: Jason (Lisa) Walters, Barton Walters, Gerri Anne Walters, Tyler Walters, Cameron (Renee) Gillies, Joanne Gillies, Graham Gillies and Nadia Gillies, as well as 12 great-grandchildren. FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, Assiniboia, SK on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at 2:00 pm. Lori Klein and Les Wilcock officiating.
