With sadness in our hearts we announce the passing of our loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and cherished friend. After a courageous battle with cancer, Babe passed away peacefully in her sleep and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Babe was predeceased by her father Lawrence James Dick.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving Husband Barry (Butch) Povoas, Daughter Penny-Ann (Bronco) Milos, Son Barry (Sandee) Povoas, Grandchildren Josh Milos, Shayla and McKenzie Povoas, Great grandchildren Aydin and Laihla Milos. Mother Jean Dick, Sisters Betty Seiwert (Stan), Gayle Ford, Judy Geeraert, Brother James (Terry) Dick and sister-in-law Margaret Jewell, as well as many nieces, nephews and Babe\'s (special sister) and friend Anita (Barrie) Colburne.

Babe was born in Victoria, B.C. The first born of five children to Larry and Jean Dick. At the age of six she moved to Kamloops with her family. In February 1963 she married the love of her life Butch and began a family of their own. Babe enjoyed crocheting, knitting, the peace and beauty of the outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping with family and friends. Several years ago Babe and Butch became snowbirds where she found cherished new friends, Dorthy, Leeroy Hargus and Bert, and John Buffer (a family away from home).

Babe wanted to give her loving thanks to her family and friends for their continuous love and support they\'ve shown her throughout her life and with her battle with cancer and a special thanks to Jerry and Pearl Dillman.

The family would like to extend a special heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Harold Stefanyk and home care nurse Blain for their kind, compassionate care. Also a thanks to the Sage Brush Quilters.
