Donald Rossley
ROSSLEY, DONALD - It is with great sadness, the family announces the passing of Donald Edward Rossley, loving companion of Mary Thibodeau, which occurred peacefully on Friday September 2, 2011, on his 75th birthday, at the St. Joseph's Hospital. Born 1936 in Saint John he was the son of the late Victor and Mary Rossley. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother father John Rossley; sister Joan Mitchell and nephew Robert Josh Lamont. Donald owned and operated Four Seasons Flea Market for 40 years. He was an avid Blue Jays fan, enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his earlier years. Besides his loving companion Mary of 23 years, he is survived by his children Teddy (Carol), Michael (Barb), Norma Jean Rossley, Neil of Alberta, Danny of Toronto and Paula Dawn Rossley of Toronto; and their mother Paula Dickson; grandchildren Mats and Nicole (Mike Chiasson); brothers Robert (Joan) and Victor (Joanne); sisters Mary Rossley of Kitchener, ON, Lois McCluskey, Betty Conway and Barbara Lamont (Eric); several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday September 6, 2011 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
