Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family on Thursday, October 8, 2009, Frederick Blundon, aged 81 years. Leaving to mourn his wife Louise; daughters: Linda (Phil) and Karen (Barry); sons: Kevin (Debbie) and Alvin (Beverly); brother Charlie (Marg); sister Hilda; grandchildren: Marc (Elizabeth), Julia (Jay), Shelley (Steve), Natasha (Forrest), Amanda, Lori (Scott), Terri Lynn (Craig), Melissa (Mike) and Debbie (Levearn); great-grandchildren: Blayre, Roark, Scottie, Faith, Hope, Logan and Owen. Also a large circle of nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the staff of St. Patrick’s Mercy Home. Frederick was also a long time member of the Old Comrades. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Friday, October 9, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, October 10, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 from Barrett’s Chapel at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow. Interment to take place on Monday, October 12, 2009 at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road. No flowers by request.
