Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on October 7, 2009. Elizabeth Flood-Ronayne, aged 93 years. Predeceased by her parents James and Mary Stanford; son Gregory Flood (Helen deceased); first husband John Flood; second husband Con Ronayne; sister Madeline Williams; brother Harry Stanford. Leaving to mourn daughter Anita McDonald (John) and their children Jeff McDonald (Judy), Colette Heistinger (Rick), Scott McDonald (Tina); son John Flood (Brenda) and their children Katie Flood and Vickie Flood; children of Greg Flood (Helen), Michelle Baird (Terry), Dale Flood and Chuck Flood in Florida; sisters: Rita O’Neil in New York and Stella Edney; step-sisters: Rosemary Stanford, Joan Dutile (Mitch deceased) and Enid O’Brien (Cyril); step-children: Connie Duff, Tish Ronayne and Tim Ronayne; six great-grandchildren; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday, October 8, 2009 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, October 9, 2009 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home Chapel. Funeral service to be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 from St. Patrick’s Mercy Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
