CONNELL, CEDRIC - Mr. Cedric Connell of Long Creek passed away on September 2, 2011 at the age of 88. He was the son of the late Charles and Bertha (Bernard) Connell. Cedric was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his wife, Doris; his daughters: Etta Jane (Janice Gauvin) of Riverview and Charlotte of Keswick Ridge; his sons: Charlie (Mary Lou) of Codys and W. Gerry of Ont; his grandchildren and great grandchildren; his special niece, Diane Pierce and his sister-in-law, May Connell; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his first wife, Mary (Sommerville) Connell; his brothers: Vernon, Harold, Gordon, Lloyd and Arnold and by his sisters: Gladys Pierce, Lily Owens and Helen Connell.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, Sussex. A Celebration of Cedric's life will be held from Coles Island Cemetery, today at 11am. www.wallacefuneralhome.com
