Henry George Speck

SPECK: Henry "Spike" George Speck of Gull Lake, SK. passed away September 29, 2009 at the Gull Lake Special Care Centre, age 75 years. The funeral service was held at the Chapel of Warren's Funeral Home, Swift Current, SK on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. The interment service followed at the family plot in Memory Gardens Cemetery. The Pallbearers were: Ken Stephanson, Russell Stephanson, Ryan Stephanson, Kara Stephanson and Mike Paul. Henry was survived by his three sisters: Eileen Wocknitz, Trenton, ON, Fay James, Calgary, AB and Jackie (Ken) Stephanson, Swift Current, SK. and numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his father Henry Speck, mother Esther Speck (nee: Shaner) and a sister Carol Speck. Henry was born on January 27, 1934 in Vanguard, SK. Henry was a resident patient at the Gull Lake Special Care Home for 34 years. Residents of Gull Lake will remember Spike riding his bike with the trailer behind, picking up bottles and cans to be recycled. Warren's Funeral Home were entrusted with the arrangements.
