Morton, William Frank Jr. (Bill), husband to Louise, father to Susan Louise (d), William George (spouse Debby) and Jason Andrew (spouse Shelley), papa to Liam (mom Corrina) and Susan Lauryn Lee, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Sunday August 28th at 12:45 in the afternoon.
Survived by his sister Shirley and his extended family.
Bill was predeceased by his daughter and his younger brothers John and Wayne.
Bill was a tireless worker both during his career in the tire industry and for his family. During his work life Bill worked for Goodyear and Columbia Tire in Vancouver and then finishing his career with Kal Tire in Vernon. Even into his retirement Bill would always make sure his family had enough wood for the winter, going into the woods with his friend Bob and cutting, splitting and hauling the wood to the people who were important to him. Whether spending time in California during the winter months or enjoying his time with his wife in Logan Lake, Bill was a constant fighter for his grandchildren Liam and Susan. He will be missed!
A Celebration of his Life will occur on Saturday, September 24th, 2011 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Logan Lake Community Church.
