Frances Mary Marceau passed away peacefully at Extendicare, Moose Jaw on September 3, 2011. She was born in Moose Jaw on October 9, 1919. Frances
is predeceased by her husband, Peter; parents, Robert and Jessie Dixon; brothers, Ernest (Anna May), Robert (Ivy) and Raymond; brother-in-law, Alexander Graas and her niece, Beverly Graas. She is survived by her sister, May Graas and her children, Don (Beth) and their children, Erin, Alexis (Brad) and Blair; Judy (George) and their daughter Caitlin; Allan and his children Jennifer, Cheryl and Jonathon; Larry (Darlene); sisters-in-law, Irma Dixon and Gilberte Marceau; many nieces, nephews, great- nieces and great-nephews. Fran enjoyed sports especially the Blue Jays, Riders and her nieces and nephews baseball games. She was member of the Legion Ladies Auxiliary and St. Aidan Anglican Church. A Funeral Service will be held at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 11:00am. The Reverend Deacon Arleen Champion will preside. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff at Extendicare for the care Frances received. In living memory of Frances, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
