At the John Parrott Centre, Napanee, Ont., originally from Glace Bay, N.S., on Monday, Sept. 5, 2011. Mary Margaret MacLeod nee Budge in her 85th year.
Beloved wife of the late John Bruce MacLeod; dear mother of Trulie MacLeod and her husband Stephen Hunter of Washington, D.C., Cathy Beavis and her husband Brian of Kingston, and Laurie MacLeod and her husband Jim Smith of Toronto; dear grandmother of Cameron and Annie Hunter and Matthew and Katie Beavis; great-grandmother to Leah, Madison and Andrew Beavis.
The family would like to thank Mary Margaret’s second family, the remarkable, caring staff of Lilac Knoll, John Parrott Centre.
The family will receive friends at the Robert J. Reid & Sons Funeral Home, 309 Johnson St. (at Barrie Street) on Friday, Sept. 9 from noon until the time of the service in our chapel at 2 p.m. Interment at Cataraqui Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the John Parrott Centre or the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
