Passed away on Monday, September 5th, 2011. Predeceased by husbands Robert O’Keefe Sr. and Anuel Ellis, parents George and Celeste Groves, sisters: Marilyn Rumsey and Ina Byrne, great-granddaughter Desirée Lush. Leaving to mourn three children: Bev (Dave), Jackie and Bob; three stepchildren: Debra (Joe), Andy (Tina) and Daphne; six grandchildren: Amanda, Nicole, Robert, Joey, Victoria and Ashley; four great- grandchildren: Destiny, Summer, Cole and Brooklyn; brothers: George (Irene), Celestine (Pat), Robert (Sharon) and Ken (Penny); sisters: Veronica (Patrick), Ruth (Pierre), Ann Marie (Skip) and Esther (Gerry); special friend: Judy Ellis as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. Special thank you to André Halliday and the nursing staff at 7 East, St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday from 1 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, September 8th, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Church. Interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Hickman’s Harbour. Flowers gratefully appreciated or a donation may be made in her memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
