It is with great sadness that the family of Irene Grace (Collins) announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on September 5,2011 at the age of 76 years. She leaves to mourn son Brian Grace (Kelly).Grandchildren Terriann and Taylor Grace, Lindsay Moorehouse, Karen Springstead (Tyson), Great grandchildren Kaylynn & Logan Moorehouse & Bentley Springstead. Sisters Beulah Cooper (Harold), Voira Batt (Sam), Myra Joseph (Pat), Audrey Collins (Dr.PK Ganguly). Brother Terry Collins (Dot) & sister-in-law Betty Collins. Sixteen nieces and nephews. Thirteen great nieces and nephews. Special niece Audra Oxford & two special friends Bessie Reid & Pauline Hawkins. She is predeceased by her mother & father Hannah & Edgar Collins, and daughter Dot Moorehouse, brothers Cecil & Raymond Collins and sister-in-law Rose Collins. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road Corner Brook,NL on Wednesday and Thursday the 7th and 8th of September 2011 from the hours of 2-4 &7-9 pm. From where the funeral service will take place at Country Haven Chapel on Friday at 2pm with Majors Calvin and Loretta Fudge officiating. Cremation to take place , interment at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers will be graciously accepted or donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
