Carmelita Ivey
We, the family of the late Carmelita Ivey, wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to those who helped us bear the sorrow of the passing of a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Heartfelt thanks to family, friends and neighbours for their kindness shown to us through floral tributes, mass and sympathy cards and donations made in memory to various charities. To those who brought many gifts of food and for the many phone calls. We are forever grateful. Special thanks to Dr. Michel McKeough and Lousie McKeough and to The Cape Breton Cancer Center and to the wonderful nursing staff at the NSG hospital (four west) and to Palliative Care for the gentle care given to a gentle lady.
Thanks those who attended visitation and mass in celebration of Carmelita's life. Frances Gordon and Gerald McGillivary for your offering of prayers. To Father Ajit Kerketta for officiating a comforting Mass. Thank-you Jan Carruthers, Brent Hopkins and Michelle McInnis for your lovely readings and to eldest grandchildren Chris Ivey and Marisa MacMullin for the Offertory Gifts and to the Immaculate Conception Choir and the CWL for a beautiful luncheon.
