April 26, 1958 to September 5, 2011

Robert died on September 5, 2011 while enjoying time with his family near Kamloops, B.C. He was in the company of those closest to him when he passed.

Rob was bursting with life, and he loved to share his joy of life with family and friends. He was passionate about travelling, photography, scuba diving, motorcycling and new technology. All of these things he enjoyed with his best friend and beautiful wife, Lynia MacDonald, who loved him dearly.

Robert was a caring and generous step-father to Jared Boyd, Noeleane Boyd, and Erin Cooper (Chris). He was also an amazing grandfather to two grandchildren, Ryder and Finnley Cooper.

Rob is also survived by nephew Wade MacDonald (wife Tanya and son Lucian), Brother Don MacDonald, and Sister Lynn MacDonald.

Rob was looking forward to his retirement from Nav Canada, where he has worked as a flight services specialist since 1977. Rob was an ultimate planner, and he and Lynia had their sights set on adventure.

Rob will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Rob's honour for family and friends on September 10, 2011, 2:00 p.m. at the Desert Garden Senior's Centre, 540 Seymour Street, Kamloops, B.C.
