The family of the late “Big Jim” MacLean wish to extend our sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends, co-workers and neighbours for your thoughtfulness during this difficult time in our lives. Words cannot adequately express how moved we were by the generous acts of kindness and support we received through Mass and Sympathy cards, gifts of food, flowers, donations to charities, phone calls, on-line condolences, prayers and visits during our time of bereavement, as well as during Dad’s illness. Sincere thanks to Anne MacIntyre and Helen Sweeney, your guidance and compassion were invaluable. Thank you to Carolyn MacLeod for all your help with the programs.We are deeply appreciative to St. Theresa’s Senior Choir under the direction of Pierce Sampson for the beautiful hymns that meant so much to us. A very special thank you to Duncan, Shawn and Floyd MacIntyre and the whole MacIntyre family for your support during Dad’s illness and for the many acts of kindness you showed Joyce and our whole family. A most heartfelt thanks to our friends and family members that traveled great distances to be home to support us; it was a great comfort to have you with us. Thank you to Dr. Stephen MacDougall, Dr. Susan MacLeod, Dr. John Jensen, the VON, the Cancer Center and Palliative Care teams of the CBRH, your compassion and kindness will always be remembered.
