Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009, age 95 years. Predeceased by her husband Robert in 1988. Leaving to mourn two daughters, Joyce (Butch) Churchill and Carol McDonald (Pat deceased), five grandchildren Colleen (Scott) Rogers, Jennifer Churchill (fiance Ken Taylor), Julie (Darren) Stapleton, Bobbi (Sean) Ryan, and Stephen Churchill. Six great-grandchildren Robert, Katie, Alex, and Mitchell Rogers, Bret Ryan, Zachary and Alexis Stapleton. Special niece Gail Goodyear. Sisters-in-law Grace Mitchell, Agnes Collins and Effie Churchill; special longtime friend Ada Littlejohn; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Memorial Chapel, 329 Freshwater Rd. on Tuesday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral service from St. Lawrence Anglican Church, Portugal Cove on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009 at 2 p.m. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Bauline Line.
