Alma Roberts

In fond and loving memory of a
dear wife, mother and grandmother,

ALMA ROBERTS

who passed away September 8, 1997.

The day that we married
They told us we were one,
But they never told us how to cope,
When half of one is gone.

You were way too young to leave me,
Surely God knew that was true,
Yet he still looked down from heaven,
And said he wanted you.

God knows how much I miss you,
Never shall your memory fade,
Loving thoughts shall ever wander.
To the spot where you are laid.

May the winds of heaven blow softly,
On that quiet and peaceful spot,
Where the one I love lies sleeping,
And will never be forgot.

Your resting place I visit,
And put flowers there with care,
But no one knows the heartache,
When I turn and leave you there.

There’s a pretty little flower,
Of pale blue tint and white,
It opens in the morning,
And closes in the night.
It’s a token of affection,
And a pretty name it’s got,
You will know it when I tell you,
It’s the sweet Forget-Me-Not.

We miss you Mom and always will,
Deep in our hearts, you are with us still,
You shared our hopes, our joys and fears,
God bless you Mom,
For those wonderful years.

We were there to see you die,
We held your hand and said goodbye,
Our last precious
moments we had with you,
Will live in our hearts
our whole life through.

Ever remembered, ever loved by husband Calvin and
children: Deon, Kimberly and Kelsey and their families.
